Data Rescue Continues

A new day and still no resolution to the dead firewire hard drive. I was able to get about fifty percent of the files from the drive with the help of a recovery tool that I downloaded. I then formatted the drive and restored the recovered files to it. In the end I lost server of my projects equaling about 20 hours of work :(

Kiss of Life

I brought the sick firewire drive home from the studio in an attempt to breathe some life in to it's lifeless remains. Many hard drive recovery tools were downloads and tried.

Studio going Digital

I moved the NLE computer of the control room and successfully recorded live video directly to the hard drive. Shortly after which the firewire hard drive crashed, losing all it's contents.
